Maria Grazia Soncini owns 1 Michelin star restaurant <La Capanna di Eraclio>. Born in the 1960s, Grazia was put to work at the very young age of seven in her grandparents’ restaurant, La Capanna di Eraclio. She has a careful selection of fresh ingredients mostly from Codigoro, where her restaurant is based, is known for its fabulous game, and being situated right next to the river Po means freshwater fish are abundant. A lot of the octopi and fish served at the restaurant is still alive in the kitchen just hours before cooking, to ensure maximum freshness.
