After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Hyun-Ah Seong built up her experience at the Michelin 3-starred restaurant of the MGM Grand Hotel Las Vegas, Joel Robuchon. She then worked at New York’s Michelin 2-starred restaurant Aquavit. Currently, she is the owner/chef of pastry/dessert restaurant <SONA> in Seoul, which offers contemporary ‘one-of-a-kind’ plated desserts.

She has broad and deep understanding in authentic French pastry and make variations with a global touch. She is breaking a border between savory section and bakery section by developing creative dessert collections. Currently, She is active in the fields of cooking and baking running <SONA> and also lectures at Seoul’s Baeksok Arts University.
